Doctor Elisa Dowd graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and completed an internship in small
animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania
Veterinary School. She has been practicing in Danville since 1989 and has been at Tassajara Vet since 1991, becoming sole owner in 2002. She and her husband, Doug, have two daughters and are active as 4-H
leaders in Danville as well as being in the Danville Grange. Dr. Dowd has been a 4-H vet science project leader since 1991.

Beth Campbell V.M.D.:
Dr. Beth Campbell
graduated from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She received her degree in
veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary
School and completed an internship in small animal medicine and
surgery in Boston,
Massachusetts. She has practiced small animal medicine in
California for 19 years. In addition to completing a fellowship in radiology
and ultrasound at the University of California, School of Veterinary
Medicine, Dr. Campbell has also completed training in veterinary acupuncture
through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the Chi
Institute. She has special interests in ophthalmology, internal
medicine, ultrasound, acupuncture and of course puppies and kittens of all types! Dr. Campbell is the proud mother of Daffodil, an English cream golden retriever and enjoys being "bossed around" by her kitty Moochie.
